Former Special Advisor for Global Health Partnerships at the Department of State, Professor of Law at Georgetown
Over the course of his career, John has had the privilege of playing diverse leadership roles in government, diplomacy, politics, philanthropy and academia at the global, national, and state/local levels. His focus has been on managing complex health, social service, and development issues and programs affecting low-income and vulnerable populations in the United States and abroad. He currently serves at Georgetown University as a professor in medicine, lecturer in law, and as the senior advisor for global initiatives to the president of Georgetown.
