Cam serves as Co-Chair of the A4AL Advisory Board, helping manage coalition-building, advocacy, and fundraising efforts. He provides strategic political advice and crafts high-impact messaging on key global assistance issues, including diplomacy, economic development, and national security.
Cam also serves as Secretary-Treasurer for the Club of Madrid Foundation Inc., the U.S. nonprofit arm of Club de Madrid, the world's largest forum of democratically elected former heads of state, supporting its mission to strengthen democratic governance and inclusive leadership worldwide. He is currently an MBA candidate at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
Previously, Cam worked as a Policy Advisor at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, covering a wide range of legislative and regulatory matters at the federal, state, and local levels. He lobbied to help secure permanency for the New Markets Tax Credit, a community development program attracting private investment in underserved communities across the country, and represented embassies of sovereign governments seeking to improve bilateral relations with the U.S. In 2025, the DC Appleseed Center for Law and Justice recognized his commitment to championing democracy with the Emerging Leaders Award.
Cam holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the University of Virginia Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Affairs from George Washington University, where he interned on Capitol Hill for his hometown district in Illinois and at government relations and public affairs practices throughout the Beltway. He is fluent in Spanish and French, and developing proficiency in Italian and Portuguese.
