Sanjyot P. Dunung is an entrepreneur, social scientist, policy expert, educator, and author, and the CEO and founder of Atma Global, a firm developing learning and advisory solutions at the intersection of global business, national cultures, technology, and education. Her work focuses on how global forces—geopolitics, markets, and culture—shape U.S. competitiveness and leadership.

Her firm, Atma Global, was recognized on Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list for its award-winning digital platform, Atma Insights, used by Fortune 500 companies, higher education institutions, and government agencies to strengthen global awareness, workforce readiness, and decision-making.

Sanjyot brings a practitioner-academic perspective as a social scientist and business leader, advising senior officials, industry leaders, and boards on navigating global markets, cross-border strategy, and workforce transformation. She operates within a strong bipartisan network across business, policy, and national security communities, advancing pragmatic, solutions-oriented approaches to complex global challenges.

Her policy experience includes serving on President Biden’s Foreign Policy Working Group on international trade, where she focused on strengthening U.S. economic security, expanding small business exports, and reinforcing America’s role in the global economy. Her work reflects a commitment to pragmatic, pro-growth policies that integrate economic resilience with national security priorities. She most recently ran for Congress in Illinois’ 8th District.

She has authored seventeen international business books, including the young adult novel Maddie & Sayara. She is a frequent speaker and media contributor on global competitiveness, culture, and entrepreneurship, and works with global non-profits while mentoring entrepreneurs.

She serves on boards, including Truman Center for National Policy and the National Small Business Association and is a Professor of Practice and Advisory Board member at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
