WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Alliance for American Leadership (A4AL), a bipartisan coalition of 150,000 veterans, students, and citizens today endorsed Congresswoman Analilia Mejia (D-N.J.) for reelection in New Jersey's 11th Congressional District.

The endorsement recognizes Mejia's emphasis on protecting civilians, upholding international law, maintaining accountability for American assistance, and supporting diplomatic approaches to international challenges.

As a member of the House Homeland Security Committee, Mejia plays a key role in overseeing federal security policies. Throughout her tenure, she has consistently advocated for international legal standards, accountability in U.S. foreign assistance, and the protection of civilians.

Mejia emphasizes that countries receiving U.S. aid must respect human rights and adhere to humanitarian standards, underscoring the importance of responsible foreign assistance.

Furthermore, she has voiced strong concerns regarding unauthorized U.S. military actions, highlighting the need for legal oversight and caution against extended overseas conflicts.
