WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Alliance for American Leadership (A4AL), a bipartisan coalition of 150,000 veterans, students, and citizens today endorsed Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan (D-Pa.) for reelection in Pennsylvania's 6th Congressional District, citing her leadership in defending the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), advancing global health initiatives, protecting humanitarian assistance, and strengthening America's international partnerships.

Representing Pennsylvania's 6th District since 2019, Houlahan is an Air Force veteran serving on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, focused on national security and international cooperation.  She has consistently championed diplomacy and development as vital to security, actively defending USAID and critical international aid programs.

“Foreign aid is an effective policy tool that advances American values and security interests abroad. I know that the value of USAID exceeds the money we spend on it and am outraged by President Trump's actions,” Houlahan stated.

Houlahan has backed her commitment to international assistance through legislative action and congressional oversight.

Houlahan's approach reflects the belief that American national security is strengthened through diplomatic relationships, reliable alliances, humanitarian engagement, and responsible international investment.
