WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Alliance for American Leadership (A4AL), a bipartisan coalition of 150,000 veterans, students, and citizens today endorsed Dr. Annie Andrews, the Democratic nominee for the United States Senate in South Carolina.
The endorsement highlights Andrews' commitment to prioritizing diplomacy, opposing open-ended conflicts, protecting civilians, and demanding strict congressional accountability in national security.
As a pediatrician, mother of three, and veteran advocate, Andrews brings over 15 years of medical expertise to her Senate campaign focusing her career on safeguarding children's health, elevating families, and defending vulnerable communities.
Her campaign for the Senate emphasizes health care affordability, responsible government spending, economic security, and an approach to foreign policy that places diplomacy and accountability at the forefront of American international engagement.
In a September 2026 interview, Andrews identified ending the war in Iran as the nation's most urgent foreign-policy challenge. A vocal opponent of prolonged overseas military involvement, she has consistently advocated for diplomatic solutions, strict adherence to constitutional requirement for congressional approval before using force, and a return to congressional oversight in national security decisions.
