WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Alliance for American Leadership (A4AL), a bipartisan coalition of 150,000 veterans, students, and citizens today endorsed Pia Dandiya, the Democratic nominee for Florida's 22nd Congressional District, citing her commitment to restoring American leadership abroad, investing in international development, and advancing a foreign policy grounded in peace.

A Palm Beach County native, educator, former White House Fellow, and public-sector leader, Dandiya leverages her background in education and government service to advocate for long-term investments in people and institutions. She believes diplomatic engagement builds lasting stability globally, while keeping American troops safe at home.

In a statement provided to A4AL, Dandiya committed to the Two Penny Pledge, pledging to dedicate two percent of the federal budget to international assistance and diplomatic programs.

“In Congress I will fight to restore and sustain that investment, and I am signing the Two Penny Pledge because two percent is a concrete number to hold ourselves to. America should be tough, trusted, and disciplined. Force should be a last resort, and endless wars should not be our default,” Dandiya said.

Her commitment reflects an understanding that international development is not simply a humanitarian responsibility, but also a strategic investment in global stability, American credibility, and long-term national security.

“Pia Dandiya represents the kind of forward-looking leadership America needs to strengthen its standing in the world,” said Asher Moss, founder and executive director of the Alliance for American Leadership. “Her commitment to the Two Penny Pledge, experience building educational institutions, and belief in diplomacy as America's first line of engagement demonstrate a clear understanding of how investments in people and partnerships can prevent conflict and strengthen national security. A4AL is proud to endorse her campaign for Congress.”
