Blake Ian Bierman, Esq., LL.M. is an attorney at Harper Meyer LLP in Miami where he practices in aviation cross-border transactions and finance across Latin America, with a special focus on Central America. In his advisory role with A4AL, he views Miami as a cornerstone in the relationship between Latin America and Washington. Here, he aims to help redefine the relationship between Miami's international business community and U.S. funded initiatives in Latin America by focusing on bipartisan support for projects that enhance foreign direct investment and economic growth by strengthening public institutions and improving legal security. Blake is admitted to practice in Florida, the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT). He currently serves as Secretary of the Young Miami International Arbitration Society (MIAS) and as an appointee of the President of The Florida Bar as a member of The Florida Bar Aviation Law Committee and Government Advocacy Committee. A graduate of the White & Case International Arbitration LL.M. at the University of Miami School of Law, his CALI-qualified research focused on bilateral investment treaties (BITs) and quantum assessment modeling in international arbitration awards. Born and raised in South Florida, Blake completed his undergraduate studies between Spain and Gainesville, where he was named an International Scholar by the University of Florida International Center.
