Daniel Hurley served as a Policy Advisor at the Department of State in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor's Office of Multilateral and Global Affairs. Previously, he interned with the Democratic staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, serving as an aide to the Subcommittee on Africa & Global Health Policy, and Subcommittee on Multilateral International Development, Multilateral Institutions, and International Economic, Energy, & Environmental Policy. Early in his career, Daniel served as a Legislative Aide for a state legislator in New Jersey. He is a member of Foreign Policy for America's NextGen Initiative, which supports young foreign policy leaders from across the country who can advance principled American engagement in the world. Daniel earned an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University and a BA in Political Science from The College of New Jersey.
