Gary Baker is a former technology C-Level executive for global companies serving manufacturing engineers and the electronics manufacturing industry. He was the EDS executive who led the teams serving General Motors global supply chain systems and was a Partner who started and led the Advanced Technology Group in Michigan for Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. He currently serves on the board of directors of a smaller publicly-traded bank holding company and previously served on the Federal Bank of Chicago Advisory Council. He provided testimony to the US Senate Banking Committee while serving as the Vice Chair of the National Small Business Association. He served on the founding Board of Trustees for the Growth Fund targeting higher returns on endowment funds for the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. As an entrepreneur, he was a co-founder and CEO of the first Internet services company in Michigan serving business. He started and sold a small investment firm targeting higher risk-higher return businesses among forming other businesses. He also taught entrepreneurship for a short time in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan.
